I am in the right place at the right time

“I am in the right place at the right time” is something I’ve been embedding in my spiritual journey and personal philosophy for quite some time. It’s an age old saying that means things are happening for me and not to me. That everything happens for a reason and that you can never really be in the “wrong place at the wrong time”. It’s a saying that adds greater meaning to all that happens and can create a deeper sense of connection and purpose to our lives here on Earth. Some days it’s harder to believe and remember. However, I know it to be true to my personal journey and I believe it to be true for all other beings in the universe as well.

I sometimes forget this mantra and feel that when I’m having a bad day or bad week that things are indeed happening to me. When it gets harder, I forget to preach my own philosophy and that can push me off balance, cause anxiety and inner distress. It can cause immense doubt and thoughts of “why is this happening to me?”. However, it is during the down periods that I have to remind myself that there is a reason for everything. If I’m having a bad day/week/month, then I am meant to be in that place, I am meant to slow down and find purpose through it.

Repeating that “I am in the right place at the right time” brings me deep inner peace. Realizing that there is no “wrong path” I can choose and that the universe guides me can feel reassuring and calming in a stressful state.

Let’s lean in and trust the process.
